Easy Roman Shades
This book is very easy to understand and in most cases self explainatory. I had never made a roman shade before, after reading the instructions for a basic roman shade, I set out to make one for my bathroom. I was very impressed at how simple and easy it was to understand the instructions. I made the shade in one day from start to finish including hanging it. It turned out perfect. I plan to make a hobbled roman shade next. The diagrams in the book are very helpful. I did have a question at one point and I e-mailed Jennifer. I was at a stand still until she e-mailed me back. To my suprise the answer came in a very short time and I was able to continue on. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in sewing roman shades and other window treatments.
Awesome Book on How to Make Roman Shades
I am a book connoisseur.Any project that I undertake, I buy several books of how-to's. So when I wanted to make Roman Shades for my sunroom, I started researching for a how-to book, even though I have at least 10 books on my book shelves about sewing curtains,and all have a section for Roman Shades. But I was searching for the one book that would make it plain and simple to understand. I found it in Jennifer Thoden's download excessible book titled, "How to Make Roman Shades." WOW! There it was, directions, illustrations,and even Window worksheets,to fill in for dimensions and details on measurements to remember,while cutting and sewing your shades. This book covers all the bases. It has been such a pleasure dealing with Jennifer. I had a problem downloading and just knew for sure I had just lost my money. I e-mailed Jennifer,thinking I wouldn't hear from her for days, the next morning their her reply was, and I have received follow-up e-mails from her making sure that I had received the book. Such a pleasure to do business with a person who is genuinely committed to taking the time to help you.

I just want every one to know how FUN,simple, easy step-by-step picture illustrations of How to Make Roman Shades! And all the other books I have purchased are sooooooo easy! I have been a seamtress for 30 years, also i'm dyslexic. I have had to struggle my way through everything ending in hours of frustration. I made my first Roman Shade thinking it was going to be hard and to my surprize it was a whiz I had so much fun I can't wait to do the next 30 for my Sons New Home. It was beautiful! and it fit perfect!I also love all the free e-Books that Jen gives as gifts when you go to her site. I am learning so much so fast and loving every minute of it. Jennifer is there for you when you need help with any guestion. She's a Great Lady. KH
