I enjoy this book the best.
When I started reading this book I could not quit until I completed it. The only problem I had with the book I would like to more information about the feelings of Toy and her control.
Dark but Sizzling Read!
I have to say that I'm used to Claire Thompson's more romantic BDSM explorations, but this book was HOT! It is a disturbing look at forced bondage and discipline, at abduction and rape and keeping someone prisoner against their will. But in Ms. Thompson's hands it becomes erotic, sexy and, frankly, thrilling. And I was rooting for the heroine to make her escape, I was on tenterhooks about what was going to happen to her...but I won't give it away! I also enjoyed watching her character develop from frumpy little prude to a more actualized sensual being. It kept it from being just another book to be held in one hand while...well, you know...
Read it! it's GREAT. then read all the other Claire Thompson books. I can't wait for the next one!
BORING!
I was yawning through a lot of this book. It was just flat. The premise was interesting of a dominant man and his submissive side kick kidnap people to treat as "TOYS". The dominant man actually is sexually attracted to men hence his submissive is a man but he also gets sexually excited for brutalizing people, men or women. The submissive is bi, leaning towards women and can be dominant or submissive. Given this interesting mix this was still a boring book. The toy this time, they have a history of having kidnapped others, is a virginal, plump prude raised in a strict religious environment. Of course by the end of the book she is awakened and I won't spoil the rest of it for you folks who might buy it. Needless to say no one will be happy. If you are into graphic sex there won't be enough, if you are into spanking and canings there won't be enough, if you are into bondage there definitely won't be eough and if you are into torture you can forget it.
